Eero Keeps Disconnecting? We Fix It Remotely

If your Eero network drops devices, shows nodes offline, or loses internet every few hours, we can find the cause and fix it over a secure remote session — no house call needed.

Remote sessions 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 2:00 AM Eastern (5:00 AM – 11:00 PM Pacific). Anywhere in the US.

Why Eero Disconnecting Happens

Eero is simple to set up, which is also why small problems hide. The most common causes we find:

Quick Things to Try First

These are safe to try yourself before booking a session.

  1. Open the Eero app and note which node or devices show offline, and when.
  2. Restart the modem first, wait two minutes, then restart the gateway Eero.
  3. Move any Eero that sits in a cabinet or behind a TV into open air.
  4. Check the Eero app for pending updates.

Still happening? That usually means the cause is in the configuration, not a loose cable — which is exactly what we fix remotely.

What We Do in a Remote Session

Diagnose

  • Review your Eero topology and node signal strength
  • Check the ISP modem for double NAT and dropouts
  • Identify which devices or bands are failing

Fix

  • Bridge or reconfigure the ISP gateway where appropriate
  • Adjust Eero settings for problem smart-home devices
  • Recommend node placement changes you can make yourself

Leave It Better

  • Test every affected device before we hang up
  • Plain-English summary of what was wrong and what changed
  • Recommendations if any hardware should be replaced

If a node has failed or the ISP line is down, we’ll tell you exactly what to replace or what to ask your provider for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions.

Why does my Eero keep disconnecting?
The most common causes are poor node placement, double NAT with the ISP modem, smart-home devices that dislike band steering, and ISP dropouts that look like WiFi problems. We check all of these in a remote session.
Do you need to come to my house?
No. WeFixIt.tech is 100% remote. As long as at least one device in the home can get online, we connect securely and work on the problem with you on the phone.
Do I need to buy new Eero hardware?
Usually not. Most Eero disconnect problems are configuration or placement issues. If a node has actually failed, we’ll tell you which one.
Can you work with my internet provider’s modem too?
Yes. Many Eero problems start at the ISP gateway, so we look at both and can tell you exactly what to ask your provider for if needed.
